JERA, Dell and RHAELM sign a Japan AI-infrastructure agreement
The companies signed a memorandum on October 1 to develop a repeatable model for building AI data centers in Japan, starting with a planned site beside JERA’s Chiba power station. JERA projects more than $15 billion in capital deployment across the project’s phases and up to 400 MW of capacity, with operations targeted around 2028; Reuters reports that a JERA official expects full capacity in 2029. ·
